    I live in nin New York state what to do when the landlord refuses to repair furnace?
    I live in buffalo ny even though I owe the lanlord 200.00 he has refused to make repairs on my furnace what can I do need heat

    If you are in the CITY of Buffalo you need to call the Housing Inspector at 716-851-4890.

    Leave a very specific voice mail and make sure you leave your address, name and phone number or the Inspectors will NOT act on your complaint.

    Your landlord can evict you. Your landlord cannot legally withhold services - such as heat.
