    Pain after sex
I had sex for the first time a week ago. I didn't feel any pain or bleed. It wasn't until the third time that I really bled. This time he was a little more rough. But I still didn't feel any pain during the sex. That was yesterday. Today I'm in a lot and I mean a lot of pain. Not specifically when I pee or when I sit down but all the time. Is this normal? And is it because it only the third time I did it and maybe he was too rough? And dear god when will it end?

It will end when it's healed OR, if it's an infection, when it's cleared up.

Is it vaginal pain, bladder pain, something else?

I trust he used a condom - it's too early for an STD to show up but you should make sure you are protected.

If he's rough and getting rougher now is the time to address that with him.

And to add to what JudyKayTee said so well.

Sex shouldn't hurt. Except maybe that very first time... and even then... it doesn't for everyone.

    Hello all,

What happened to the roles about asking the age before responding to any thread on this site?
    Happy new-year, Thanks.

I don't know - I realize you post in the plumbing section and also ask ages on the Sexuality threads. I'm sure you know better than I do BUT there was a thread some time and I thought the "rules" had changed - https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/adult-...ml#post2955742

Hopefully a Moderator will clear this up.

And, incidentally, when you do ask it's KNOW your age, not NO your age.

It's vaginal pain, not bladder pain. It's not a burning sensation. I don't have any cuts or anything. And it's definetely not an STD, we used a condom. I've heard a lot of women feel sore after sex but it can't be this painful. And about my age; I'm over 18.

Oh, good - that will make afarro happy.

Sounds like very rough sex. I trust it will get better BUT I'd speak to your boyfriend about it.

Next time you could be really seriously hurt!

There's always sitting in a tub of warm water, but if this is internal that's not going to help. Only time will change things - you need to heal.

It could very well be - BUT do you want to see a Physician? I didn't mention getting checked by a Doctor OR if it gets really bad, going to the ER because that's such a pat answer.

I am really thinking you are in a LOT of pain.

My thoughts - and I am NOT medically trained - is that what you are experiencing IS connected to having sex, rough or otherwise. You've already figured that out, of course, so I'm talking to myself, trying to figure this out. Have you tried warm packs, sitting in a warm tub? If the pain is OUTSIDE instead of INSIDE that might be a big help.

We have an RN who posts who is VERY knowledgeable and I'm hoping she comes along very soon.

In the meantime I have nothing helpful to say of a medical nature but I do sympathize - and any woman would!

If you tried taking aspirin or something else for the pain? I know it's not the answer but it MIGHT make you more comfortable.

I really, really am. And it seems to be getting worse and not better. The bath didn't work, I felt worse after that. I'm using an icepack now and that's a little helpful. But aspirin isn't helping either. I want to see a doctor, but the only doctor in town is my own father. I don't want him to know. I'll have to go to the next town tomorrow if it hasn't passed yet.

Well if that's what you have to to... then do it. Because something is wrong if you are experiencing this.
