    Firstly, I welcome you to this great site.
    E={1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10}
    A= {1,10}

    The complement of a set is all the members minus members of the set, whose complement is to be found. That is, subtract the members of the set, of which we want to find the complement, from the universal set.

    Here, A' = E - A.
    So, A' = {2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9}

    The complement of {1,10} in E is the set of elements of E not in {1,10}. Thus it is {2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9}.
