    Is this possible?
I started my period on Dec 5th and ended on Dec 10th. My husband and I had sex on Dec.11th. I spotted pink on Dec 18th which is when I should've ovulated. Now I've had two positive pregnancy tests. Can sperm really live that long or did I ovulate super early? Can a test already show up positive if we just had sex on the 11th? I'm so excited just totally in shock that I got pregnant the day after my period. And I'm very regular. 28 day cycle. Thanks for your thoughts!

How was you tracking your Ovulation... you are aware you can't determine that by your menstrual cycle. I'm guessing your actual Ovulation cycle is far later than you thought is was.

    And congrats...

I wasn't tracking, just basing it off a 28 day cycle. And I can usually tell when I'm ovulating due to change in discharge. And thank you.

Talk to a OB/GYN and you will find the only remotely accurate way to predict ovulation is with basal thermometer chart readings. And that's tedious to do.

Thank you but I'm not trying to track my ovulation. I'm pregnant. Just confused as to how I got pregnant the day after my period and if a test could already show up positive from intercourse on Dec. 11th.

You can get pregnant on your period, that is not uncommon at all. And Ovulation is not based on when you have your period. So you can't count weeks or days from that. It can come at other times.

And it is a little early for many test, but it is not impossible either.
