Though this has been asked earlier I couldn't find a exact solution for my question.
Here,I have faced a problem with the weight of solid PVC shoe soles.I want to reduce the weight of it by 20%.I try to reduce the weight by changing the amount of chemicals.Ex- varied the amount of filler.So tried without filler.(using filler is crumbs).It worked and could be able to reduce about 15g.But It isn't enough.Want to reduce about 30g further.So then I tried by changing the amount of forming agent.But it didn't work.Those thing I did because I believe that the weight of a sole can be change by varying the amount of ingredients.Isn't there any method to reduce the weight of a sole with out replacing PVC from TPR?Using type of PVC is SG 5 and DOP is used as plastisizer.In addition to that, slipping agent,forming agent,form controlling agent,carbon black another type of pigment are used.The formula which is used is ad follows.
PVC 100Kg,DOP 70Kg,form porosity regulator 0.3325Kg,composite stabilizer 0.1Kg,form control agent 0.18Kg,forming agent 0.09Kg,slip agent 0.175Kg,carbon black 0.5Kg,another pigment 0.5Kg. I am struggling to solve this problem as much possible.If you can contribute to this by giving any suggestions it is a great help for me.

As I mentioned previously, they make a lighter PVC... called cellular core PVC (approx. 30% lighter), but I really don't know anything about how they introduce the air bubbles into the PVC. For that, I'm guessing you want to contact a PVC manufacturer and talk to the people in the technical/chemistry department. Perhaps they can help guide you in the right direction here!
