Car problems it doesn't start and horn sounds non-stop!
I replaced a new battery and changed the battery connectors.clean everything with a wire brush as much as I was able. Then connected the positive end and when I went to connect the negative end the car horn started going off and wouldn't stop. I have no alarm system in the car. Can someone help me with some suggestion.

If the car was previously owned by someone else, there may be an aftermarket alarm system that was not totally removed--this happens often. Try entering your radio code. Consult your Owner's Manual.

No. That car must have an anti-theft system--it's too new. Have you tried calling the dealer or consulting your Owner's Manual?

Well nah, I haven't imma try referring to the owners manual. Is there a fuse or something like that I can disconnect? That alarm has never activated on me before and for last months I been replacing the connectors and it never acted like this. I used to have a remote control of the horn alarm like to find your car in shoping center and that kind of stuff but I lost it because I never had a reason for it anymore. Thank you though. I think you have place in somewhat of direction since I was totally lost.

All of the work may have eventually triggered the computer into thinking the vehicle was being stolen. Anti-theft systems can be quirky.

So I got some mechanic to work on the alarm problem,he check it out and made the false contact stop since its what he said it was. Now the car turns on but it doesn't accelerate.he says its the accelerating module that sends the signal to the egine module telling to accelerate.its two module(the sender and the receiving) according to this guy. Now he did it and it wasn't the sender and now he's going to change the other one. Does this make any sense to anyone or is this guy sound like he doesn't what he is doing? Advice please?
