    Felony or misdemeanor ?
Three years ago I was released from jail after serving time a possession charge and was never told Anything about probation the judge only said to stay out of trouble and she didn't want to see me back so that's what I did but about 7 months later I get a letter from probation saying that I failed to report and to come in but the address that it got sent to was an old address so I didn't get the letter until months after it got sent so then a warrant hAs been out for my arrest but I have been doing good , I've been working going to school and raising my son I have a. Address to report to and I've been paying my restitution most importantly I e been clean and sober for 3 years

Your violation of probation only returns you to have your sentence for your actual crime revisited. So if your possession was a misdemeanor then that is what it is.

You need to arrange to turn yourself in, and deal with the warrant.

Obviously you did not provide a correct or updated address to the court. And you really missed something in court, since your sentence would have been clear about probation. Also right after court you would have received info about reporting.
