Im in the USAF and I can't exactly go where I want to. They tell me where to go. If anyone out there has any advice or just would like to talk about things I wiould be more than happy to chat it up.

Tim, I am assuming that you have a divorce lawyer? If you are at the beginning of a separation/divorce, I strongly urge to you seek out a divorce lawyer. If you already have one, you should immediately contact him or her.

If you will be paying child support, and have either joint custody or visitation rights, she cannot just leave the state if you are not in agreement with this. If she chooses to leave the state with your child, there can be very severe legal consequences for her. You need to review this with a divorce lawyer. This should all be part of the separation/divorce agreement.

You should also look up the website in the state that you live in that shows all child custody laws. A lawyer is great and they can certainly can help you but take it from someone who has been through two lawyers and still not divorced. You need to seek your own information to be sure what the lawyer is telling you is correct and helpful for your situation.
