    Radiator smell in car?
Not all the time but sometimes after driving a short distance I can smell coolant and the front of the car feels hot but does not show anything leaking. My coolant overflow was very low so I just added water. Should this fix the problem?

You need to find out where the leak is... if the odor is strong inside... you might have a heater core leaking.

Antifreeze fumes are not good to be breathing.
