The guy that I've been taking to/seeing is older I'm 21 and he's 28... seems like a really nice guy, genuine, has his own house, car and job and we've only been talking for a month and have only been on 2 dates. He lives 30/40 miles away and for both dates he has came to see me. Today he asked if I would come see him tomorrow or the day after to hang out at his house... I told him I couldn't do the day after but that tomorrow might be possible... when we spoke on the phone I told him that I really don't got to people's houses that I don't know... and he's like do you not trust me and I replied saying that it's not that I don't trust you I just don't know you and I'm not familiar with the area where he lives... he spent a few minutes trying to convince me that he's not a by guy, that I have nothing to worry about, and that me going would show that I'm interested... but I still can't help but feel hesitant... before we got off the phone he was like so what time do you think you'll be coming and I said maybe are 5 but I have to do something for my mom around 2/3... like I would like to go but then again I'm completely held back, reserved, and hesitant... I spoke to my mom about it and she says that it's something I shouldn't do because I don't really know him and that I have to set boundaries... and he's the one that pursued me and that he should be making most of the effort and with him being older he should know that he can't expect a girl to come to his place after knowing him a month... my mom thinks I should wait like 6 months or when I'm comfortable enough to go to his place

Its not that I don't want to go its just my mom has me really freaked out about it to the point that I don't want to go and I'm scared something would happen... and if I do go I will have hell to pay with her... I feel like I am being unfair to him and my mom is saying that I'm trying to please him and that some of my other family members would agree with me not going

My question is... is it too early for me to go to his place? Should I wait longer? If I don't go what is the best way to say that it's not appropriate for me to go right now without making it seem like I'm not interested or that I never have any intentions of ever going there?. and what are the chances that he'll me mad/upset?
