First:
Uninstall the current drivers on your system, this should put you on VGA mode, basic mother settings, once you boot, and everything is working, with the legacy mother board and windows drivers,
Now go to the web site and download the newest drivers for that video card, and please make sure your video car is compatible with your system, before doing anything else.
If it is, go to the next step.
Do not load or install the new drivers... just install the video car for now
Boot the system, it should boot up with legacy drivers.
Once you boot, do a windows update, maybe there is a driver already to be downloaded it
If there is no drivers, go to hardware manager and make sure your video card shows up it should have a question or yellow icon on it.
Now install the new drivers you downloaded it,and follow the promp..
Also some video cards do need their own power connection if it does make sure it is connected
Hope that helps.

Hi,
Thanks a lot for your quick reply.
I'm at work right now but let me give you little more information about the issue. So you might catch the issue.
1)I've tried to change settings from my bios such as (from "On board" to "PCI" video adapter)but It didn't help.
2) If I install it and turn the computer on it doesn't start. Computer is on but no signal going from my motherboard to the screen. Neither from video card's vga port.
3) Since computer wouldn't start when I install and turn it on, I've tried to install while computer is on with thinking it might recognize the device since it's already on and working. But whenever I put the video card in to the slot,it freezes my computer. It's not totally freezing the computer, I can still use mouse icon and choose things (opening windows etc) but nothing works, constantly in waiting mode...
4) I've looked if it requires any power but all I found on the card was jumper hole that has 2 pin in it. So I don't think it gets power from that plug.
5)I've read some articles about issues and thought it's fixable because it doesn't make my motherboard beep when I Install it but it just doesn't work.
I hope this would give you better idea on the issue. Please let me know the possible solutions. Thanks a lot again.

You said you try to install the video card while the system is on? Is that correct? If so don't do that, you would burn the system, you lucky you haven't got shocked, hopefully I miss understood that part :-) Hardware installation should be done only with the system off.
You have a micro motherboard, the only thing that I see here is that the video card has two a VGA and the DVI AND HDMI connectors also, the only difference here I see is the version, it calls for X64 file system
the video card is also a PCI EXPRESS 2.1 X16, that might be the problem.
But did you did all I mention? Download the updated drivers, boot on vga mode from the motherboard
boot up then shutdown.
install the new video card and go to the bios and make sure is booting from the new video card is selected
then install the drivers, if you have done all that.
the only thing I can think of is the version of the video card and file system not being compatible.

Since I'm at work, I haven't tried. I will try tonight. I don't have any other video card that is installed on motherboard. I just use on-board video adapter. And if you think the current driver for onboard video adapter causing motherboard to not recognize the one I've been trying, I'll try to uninstall it.
How can I make sure that my motherboard and the system is compatible with the video card I have ?
I've checked my motherboard's specifications and it has pci express slot. Do I need to look for further criteria that needs to be matched ?
Thanks again

No per your post, I assume you have already installed the card and the drivers that came with the card and froze your system, the current drivers for your onboard card should not be a problem.
sorry for the mis understanding..
try what I mention on the first post and see if that works..
good luck
also if your system is not X64 and your video card is, that could be a problem
your mother board accept X16 video cards, your card is a 2.1 x16, which is different
try the first thing I wrote first when ever you can and see if that works.
