Shower and bath hot water pressure is low
I have an electric (triton) shower in the shower room and a gravity fed one in the next door bathroom where the bath is. Hot pressure in the sink taps in both rooms is fine but the showers and bath and are very weak such that we now get a whining noise from the electric shower. The house is 11 years old and they are the original bathrooms albeit I have changed the shower heads and tubes and the taps on the bath. Any ideas before I get my wallet out?

    Hi Charlie...

Unfortunately, we don't install/work on triton showers (electric showers) over here so we can't really help much.

My guess is that you have a mineral build up in the immersion tank... may be able to clean out using CLR (or similar descaling product), but I just can't be sure, OK?

    Good luck!

Little hot water to bath/shower but pressure is OK [ 2 Answers ]

We have an American Standard Hampton single handle bath/shower set that was installed in our remodeled bath about 8 years ago. All of a sudden, there's barely any hot water to the tub or shower, although everywhere else we still have nice, hot water (even in the bathroom sink). So, I've read...
