My period is now 5 days late. I took a pregnancy test 3 days ago, it was positive... The line was there, it was faint but there. I decided to not believe that test, wait a few more days and test again. Today my test was negative. I also spotted a little today but it is not what I am used to. The blood is very little and kind of black. Lasted about an hour and has now stopped. No cramping but I do feel a little bloated. The normal period symptoms are not there at all. I usually have severe cramping and gain about 5 pounds... No cramps, no weight gain. In fact, I have lost about 7 pounds in the last month. I am not anemic, either. I eat, it is my favorite thing to do. My youngest child is 10 years old, my period is generally very normal but has been a little screwy since August because my 13 year old started her period and I think somehow her cycle is messing with mine. I have not been having sex regularly but if in fact I am pregnant, I know exactly when it happened but I don't think this is the case. I was wondering if anyone had a better explanation because I really hate going to the doctor. Other pertinent info, I am in my early 30's... I have 3 children, no miscarriages, no abortions, every pregnancy I ever had resulted with a child being born. Thanks in advance!
