Watch them as they use the Net.
There are some parental filtering programs that will catch many sites, but there is no foolproof method of protection other then to stand over them.

Put your computer in your bedroom. Our daughter likes to play little online games, and she does so on our laptop, sitting on our bed. ScottGem is right here, there is no program that can substitute for parental supervision.

They are right but you can also put child safe locks on the webs, like if you if out what webs your kids like to use then keep the locks off them and put an automatic lock on everything else its, not hard go onto the internet and go on google.com they should be able to tell you how to get the safy lock on your computer.

Agree 100 percent, our son only uses it in the room where we are. If I ever see him close a page as I walk by I check out what is was. I check he history on a regular basis and I limit use of social network sites.

Carfull kids can delet history, its not that hard once they figure it out they will be doing it for the rest of there lives. Or you could by on of those camera thingys and just program it into your computer so they don't even no u can c them or what they r doing;)

A safe browser can be defeated. Searches can be deleted. Even a key logger or screen capture program can be found and altered or deleted. My husband and I will sometimes sit down and try to break through the protections in our kids school computer lab. It doesn't take us long. If we can figure it out, I can guarantee that a sixth grader can do it faster. I'll say again that NOTHING can substitute for parental supervision. You'll always know what your child is doing online in your home if you are there with them.

About 10 years ago I saw a movie about surfers using jet skis. One of them could not use the jet ski to catch the wave so went without and wiped out and drowned himself.

Difficult surfing

I want to know what would cause this problem:
I log on to the internet, and surf around for about 15min to 1/2 hour, everything is very, though a little slow. Then I start getting "page not found errors" and other similar errors for sites that I know exist, though I know I am still logged on. ...
