Felony charged but never did time
My uncle was arrested about 9 years ago in Arizona, for a stolen vehicle that was loan to him to pick someone up at the airport, he was in county jail for 3 days, if no report was found on the stolen vehicle he would be released the judge said, he was released after the 3 days. 2 years ago he found out that he was charged with a felony threw his employer. What can he do. Has never been in trouble with the law, has only had speeding tickets, parking tickets that it.

    Hello c:

Do about what?? They're NOT prosecuting him. He wasn't convicted. What problems is it causing him? It shouldn't prevent him from becoming employed...

100s of thousands of people are charged every year and the charges dropped.

Only convictions are to court against you. So it is true, he was charged ( arrested and held for 3 days)

    Hello again, c:

Most employers are only concerned with convictions. He has none, so it shouldn't stop him from becoming employed. Of course, there's no stopping an employer from NOT hiring him either.

    Arrest records cannot be cleansed.

Sow what can he do, how does he remove the charge agaist him, will that get removed onces he get an aterny? Will the arrest recod be removed also, is there some kind of process he needed to follow when he was released? Did he had to go back to signed something? For the process to be complete? What is the best option in this case? Thanks
