I couldn't pull up a cutaway on a Price Pfister Trip lever drain assembly but trip lever assembles aren't hard to figure out. Here are the two. One uses a bucket and the other pops up a stopper in the tub drain. I've included the guts of a bucket type drain which is the more used. Installation' a easy job. Open up the access panel behind them tub front and install the trip lever and plate Now install the tub drain after first forming a putty seal under the drain lip Tighten the compression nuts on the drain tee and connect ton the trap. Drain and trip lever all installed. Problems? Click back and tell me about therm. Good luck.

I don't even try to fix them anymore. You can buy a kit that replaces the overflow lift arm with a drain plate and a lift/twist stopper and basket that you can epoxy right over the old drain fitting. Easy fix and makes the bath look more modern.
