    Third degree theft al
    I was caught stealing a few small items in walmart totaling 29$ I have never been arrested before. I'm nineteen and can't get something on my record because I'm going into finance what should I expect?

    You 'can't?' I can't be turning 65 this week. You pay a lawyer and throw a lot of money at them for restitution (often several hundred dollars more than what you stole, to cover court costs and to discourage you from doing it again) and do some community service, and even then there's no guarantees, depending on the store, the judge, and the state you live in.

    Totally agree with joypulv.
    You should have thought about that before you stole. Did you steal more often but only got caught once?
