    Alcohol in UA
    If I took a voluntairy UA as part of a DUI assessment that was not court ordered and only signed a release to my lawyer and I pop positive for alcohol can they release those results to a judge?

    I guess the issue is first Why did you take a test not court orderd?
    What was the test being used for? Is the DUI assessment being reported back to the judge

    Did your lawyer approve you taking the course and UA before you did it?

    If they can release them to the court is up to the rules of the assessment program and who wanted you to do the program.

    If your attorney had you do this, to use this as evidence in court for you, the your attorney merely does not mention these tests or use this assessment as evidence. If the assessment although not ordered by the court but a program done by the court, yes it can be reported
