    Hipaa infraction ?
I did some remodeling for a home health care service and they never paid me.All I got was a thank you! While working their I had used the out side dumpster to dispose of construction waste.I was shocked to see they were disposing of patients medical info,ss#'s,medication profiles, medicare account# and etc.(all was in unshreded form and legible. This company wanted the work done asap and I worked day and night to meet the dead line and they told me they were very pleased with my work but its been over 120 days and they won't pay!I would like to return the favor by turning them in. Any sugestions?

Yes, what they did can be considered a HIPAA violation. All records need to be shredded.

I'd sue them first in small claims. Hopefully you had something in writing.

You can go to the HIPAA site and file a report. Do you have any proof? Did you keep copies of any records?

And why aren't you being paid? Did you have a contract?

Several things. Are you a licensed contractor, did you have a contract for the work. Is there a dispute on the bill.

Also to be honest if this is part of a larger chain, 120 days on billing is not out of the norm. What is your late fees or interest on unpaid bills, that was in your written contract.

When you have talked to account payable what have their said about the bill.

But first you sue them for the money of the repair. Also consider placing a lien on the building till paid.

As for the material, yes that is a violation, very serious one in fact.
