    Can my friend legally not move with her family if she's only 17?
    My friends family is moving city. Her father is determind she is going with them but she doesn't want to go. She turns 17 in January so is there anyway she can legally stay? We are will to do anything..

    Laws vary by location. In most locations the child must be 18 to decide whether she will move with the family. If her parents have decided that she will go with them, that is the final decision until she turns 18.
