Berries bushes in Florida

I wonder what kind of berrie bush that would grow in hot south Florida. Zone 10. I don't know if blue berries or black berries would grow In this heat?? I know I have tried mulberry that required stratification which was a pain. And they still did not grow.
What is this plant? Looks like a lily with berries?

When this thing started coming up I thought it might be a Lily but wasn't sure.. now the thing is huge, about five feet tall, a big bunch of them.. I didn't pull it because the bees loved it. Now the blossoms are closed up.. are these berries? What are these?? DrHazim's Blog
