    Al anon group
    How do I set up an AL-ANON group in my community. In Uganda I have only attended the A.A which provides the open meetings and closed meetings. There is no group that really caters for the friends and families of alcoholics.

    Following is a website for AA. Central Services (NY) can advise about establishing or creating group under Alanon.

    Alcoholics Anonymous : FOR GROUPS AND MEMBERS

    Additionally, here is the site for Al-Anon as well (they may be separately chartered) but one of the sites will get you on the road.
