Dyed my blonde hair dark, how to get it back without too much damage?
I naturally have dirty blonde hair as it has been getting slightly darker the last few years. I had highlights and was letting my hair grow out. I recently dyed my hair 2 shades darker than my natural color because my stylist said it would fade into my color. I really like that color it has faded into, however, it is a light golden brown, and with my roots growing in, it looks terrible, kind of like a skunk. I want to know how to get it back to my natural color as that was what I was aiming for to begin with. Should I strip the color? Or get some more highlights and let it gradually grow out again after that?

You could strip it but that's really bad for your hair. The best thing would be to keep doing highlights and lighten it every few weeks. I would go to your hairdresser.

I have medium blonde hair naturally. It was light blonde, and my roots were grown out pretty bad, and I bought Wella 711N which is medium blonde, and I used a 10 volume developer. I left it on for 20 minutes, and it turned out pretty dark. I have been washing it with joy dish soap. I read that I...
