    averaging fractions
My problem is find the average for 1/3, 6/7, 1/21

Here's what I did please tell me if I'm close or way off base.

    1/3= 7/21
    6/7=18/21
    1/21= 1/21
    26/21divided by 3 =26/63

    This just seems so odd.:o

    26/21 divided by 3 = 26/21

    26/21 ÷ 3/1 =

    26/21 x 1/3 =

Unless you copied a number or a sign wrong, that's the average.
