Why is life so confusing at this age? Better question: why are GUYS so confusing? Im getting so confused with everything and I have been thinking about this guy nonstop. Litteraly... I even wake up throughout the night thinking about him. I am seriously going to have a total breakdown soon. And I don't know what to do. My luck I will have a break down in the hall at school. And also, why is Vday such a big freakin deal? Everyone is all "oh i have a valentine!" well it hurts when all your friends have someone and you don't! I don't know what to do.

I'd like to think that those years of high school, mean something. To tell the truth, even though I miss them they were very rotten for me. I was just like you, no boyfriend or for that matter, no friends. I was very isolated from everyone. In my case, I didn't even have good grades to at least compensate for the lack of social life. But then again, something went right down the road, because I got married, got a cool job, earn good money, and still trying to stop being so socially handicap :D
About the boy... man, do I remember. I did something you would probably not do (or I hope you won't). I wrote a letter to tell him I liked him. He laughed in my face, thought I was an idiot, and I was entirely humiliated. And you know what's the worse part, I did it again the next year, thinking he mighta changed his mind. WRONG!! And, of course, I didn't even look at the poor boy that actually liked me. Men how do I regret it sometimes,hehehe. I'll say, even though your days might look sort of dark, when you have no dog to bark at you, try to look in the mirror and think the best of yourself. Your beautiful, successful... and if you don't think so, well, you will be later on. And many times when I thought I was ugly and stupid... I know now, if I would have have more social empathy, I probably would have been even popular. Just don't hear what other people say... be yourself, and have your style... and share yourself to the world. My good friend, Patch Adams, said to me "The world need you radiant", and it's helped me a lot when I confronted awkward situations. Hope I helped a little. Hope you get through this soon, too. Darls I know its hard but seriously, you just have to go through it.
I remember I really liked this guy and I could NOT stop thinking about him, like yourself, I woke up and went to bed thinking about him.
In the end when I knew I couldn't have him and I realized he was a jerk, I still couldn't stop thinking about him and it was killing me.
You know what cured it? Meeting someone better.
I never thought I could meet anyone as good as him but turns out I did, just let fate do the work.

P.S I've never had a valentine before but it doesn't matter because it's a silly day to get people worked up! And if its any help, most people break up before valentines, I assume because of the pressure of it... you don't need that!
