Why is there still pressure in the hose that I am trying to shut off
I turned off the hot water valve but hot water is slowly with pressure coming out of the hose. I went to hot water tank to shut off, but there is only one valve (blue) on top of the hot water tank.. I turned off the hotwater tank breaker switch. Do I just need to let the water come out of the hose? It is still hot and maybe it is the valve itself? I am in the end trying to replace faucets on top.. wow!

Are u changing sink faucet? There should be shut off valves under sink that will shut water off to faucet.

Remove pipe going from valve to bottom of old faucet and remove faucet. Install new faucet. Reconnect pipe from faucet to valve. Turn on valves under sink. Ready to go.

If there isn't shut offs under the cabinet then you must shut off both the hot and cold water. This can be done with just one valve. The house shut off. Shut the house down and replace the faucet. Good luck, Tom
