I just joined so I could comment on the "Heating & Cooling Maintenance, Repair & Troubleshooting FAQ from NortherHeat" section, i.e. question, "Where are the diagnostic LED's" I wanted to look because I wondered if there was more than one place.

When I clicked on the question (FAQ) on the first page, it lead to the second page where I looked for the answer. There was no text regarding any LED's so I looked at all of the pictures. Nope. Frustrated, I left the page only to come back a couple of times because I could not believe that you did not have a link from a front page question. Hours later, I came back to this site because I believe you are doing a disservice by having bad links. You are apparently generating revenue by page clicks or else you would have this site coded correctly.

You have my email if you care for further clarification. I will ignore excuses and justifications.

Robert, are you commenting on the question posted by rodrigjose or some other topic? Can you copy and post a link to the question you are referring?

I don't think you have AC, right? You may have purchase a tstat that is designed to control more than what you have. Read psot #3 in this link to better understand the wiring color codes https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/heatin...eat-58313.html

Sounds like you have a heat only system,, all you have to do is tie one wire to RH and the other to W
You have a heatpump tstat which is much more than you need but its OK
If you had ac or heatpump you would have more wires coming from the wall

BE SURE TO turn off breaker to furnace before attempting to install tstat /you could blow a fuse in furnace or even fry a transformer

    Good luck

Do not start a new thread on the same topic as yesterday, we are the same people. Wm, do not think this is a heat pump tstat. http://www.luxproproducts.com/pdfs/s..._SpecSheet.pdf
