Hey I'm 14 and I want to know if its possible to be put into foster care. There are a few reasons for this but I don't want to go into to too much detail. My parents split up 2 years ago because both of them were being unfaithful, they are both now with the partners they were cheating on each other with, and I don't get on with any of them. My father lives in my area but in the main town with his girlfriend, who's also half his age, and (most of the time) her foster brother. Until fairly recently I got on with my dad but there was a turning point a couple of months ago that has caused me not to want anything to do with him. My mother currently is in the process of moving into a new house with her boyfriend and his 17 year old son, both I strongly dislike. This new house is over 200 miles away from the place I was born and grew up. I can't live with my father for various reasons so am being forced into moving. I've never got on with my mother and we argue daily. The thought of leaving the only people that actually feel like family to me (my friends) is killing me and I really do not want to live with any of the people I've mentioned. I've read a few other questions like this and most of the answers have been about not qualifying for foster care if anyone has any ideas it would be really appreciated:/

You can not get into foster care, since you have a family that will take care of you. I can hear and feel the resentment in your post over the divorce and both of them finding someone else.

But parents move for many reasons, and as kids often they have no choice but to make new friends, keep in contact with old ones on computer and move on in life
