    The empirical formula of a compound is CH. At 200 degrees Celsius, 0.145 g of this compound occupies 97.2 mL at a pressure of 0.74 atm, What is the molecular formula of the compound?

    Compounds with the empirical formula CH are alkynes or alkenes with multiple double bonds.

    But what you need to do here is to use the ideal gas equation to find the molecular mass of the compound and use that mass and the empirical mass to get the molecular formula.
