Is there any way I can show that the absentee parent is wilfully not paying support? I understand now that the burden to prove that rests on me. I am the mother of a 13 year old child, whose father since BIRTH has been ducking and dodging paying support. He has moved out of cleveland and into Canton to avoid payment, and since then has had another child which he convinced the mother to give him custody of so he wouldn't have to pay support for him. (what did the other mother care she already had another child, and with the second one gone it's less stress on her). He has worked under the table, under fake names, has allowed his other friends to claim him and his child to split the tax return money. I on the other hand noticed that he was not "emotionally equipped" to be a good parent. So I left him alone and waited for the courts to collect. However, the only time when they did anything enforcement wise is when I pressured them. Anyway, now he receives social security disability for his other child that lives with him, he has received sec 8 housing through that, and is now boasting on Facebook that he is about to purchase a house, has moved his girlfriend from anotther state here, takes care of her and her two kids, and that I am trying to make his life bad! WHAT? The absentee parent is just as responsible as I am financially for the child. I am in the process of going through an administrative review, he is trying to get the amount lowered. It is currently at $210/mo which he does not pay. He makes moblie uploads to his Facebook page, you can pay a cell phone bill each month but you can't help support your child? Please if anyone has any pointers, or information that could possibly help my struggle... by all means share!
