$50 Confederatel Bill that's been Ellaminated
I friend provided me with a Conferate 50.00 bill dated 1861. Because it was torn they ellaminiated it to preserve it. I know WRONG thing to do, but they did it. They were wondering what the value might be. I would say considering the age, its between poor and good condition. I can pretty much read all the print and easily see the date. Just wondering what the value of something like this might hold. I have a feeling they need to hold it in the family for maybe 1-200 more years since they illaminated the bill.
    Thanks

Do you mean it's laminated? I don't know what ellaminated is.

I had a similar bill. It was without value due to the lamination.

Ask a collector in your area but I'm sure it's without value.
