    Washingmashine drains size basement hookup 45 old house drains to laundry tub is it to code never had any problem code /

    This practice is fairly common in older houses built before laundry rooms or a washer standpipe. When the house was built was probably acceptable and it would be most likely grandfathered.

    I agree with ma, grandfathered and not dangerous.
