My husband and I are not trying to conceive but we are not taking too many precautions. My "period"was 4 days late and it lasted 2 days and was lighter than normal. I have been experiencing pregnancy symptoms but have had two negative Hpt.

If you are having sex and not using protection, yes you are trying to conceive. Maybe not timing it, but not trying to stop it either.

Yes this is signs, wait another week, if no period try another test, using urine first thing in the morning.
If still negative, you may wish to confirm at your doctor or clinic

Thank you for your advice. I have read that some women don't show enough of the hormone needed for the home test. So I will wait another week as hard as it is =)
