First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's. This can lead to confusion. You should start a new thread. So I've moved your question to its own thread.

The best answer is adoption. It's something you should seriously consider.

I don't think the state can take your child. But you seem to have made a few mistakes with your life (underage sex, getting pregnant, running away) and there are going to be consequences for those mistakes.

Where are your parents in all this? What so you want to do?

No, there is no reason to charge you with a crime and/or put you in jail.

Why do you think you're facing 5 years unless you haven't told us something. Were you criminally charged in connection with running away? What were you charged with?

I'm 15 and pregnant and in a terrible circumstance please help
I'm 15 my boyfriend is 16 we ran away and now are both on probation and there is a no contact order between us because we took my moms car when we ran the maximum penitly for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle (felony class c)in Oregon is five years in jail... I've been trying to straighten up and have been doing good on probation but recently found out I'm pregnant I'm wondering can I go to jail if its my boyfriend baby since it would be going against the no contact order I'm completely against abortion but if I'm facing five years and the state possibly taking my baby... I'm just looking for some answers and maybe a little advice

I merged your threads. Please post any followups here.

If you became pregnant AFTER the no contact order was in place, that IS a violation of your probation. That could mean that you will be placed in a juvenile detention hall. This, in turn could affect your ability to keep your baby.

I would hardly consider that you are trying to straighten up and doing good on probation if you violated the no contact order to have underage sex with your boyfriend.

If one of the conditions of probation was that you have no contact with your boyfriend and now you're pregnant with his baby, yes, you've violated probation. That means you would go back to Court and receive a sentence for the original charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Your parents, of course, can charge him for parental interference. The good news (if there is any) is that Oregon has a Romeo and Juliet clause which means even though you are under age and he "legally" raped you he cannot be prosecuted because you are close in age. He can, however, be charged with parental interference.

You need to speak with your probation officer - and soon!
