    Frigidaire washer fws445frs2 won't wash
    Frigidaire washer does not recognize the wash cycle. It rinses and spins just fine. Does not wash though. Please help thanks.

    Sounds like your timer motor and/or contacts are not good, most likely the contacts. If this machine is worth repairing you should be able to replace the timer mechanism without too much trouble. Call a repair/replacement warehouse and get some prices before you start taking things apart. I always compare the cost of new to repair parts. If I'm anywhere near 50/50 and the unit is 10 years old I'm out the door to the appliance store.
