What haunted house movie is this-was showing on TV halloween week
I think it came out late 1990's to mid or just before 2011
I saw it on TV A man returns to his family home. Many years aerlier when he was like 5-8 years old his mother died When he returned to the home as an adult his mother was haunting him but really he was ahunted by the dreams of what she use to do to him She was alcoholic and would lock him in a closet With the help of a family friend. A doctor I think he remembered what he did- he had left a sock on the floor and his mother locked him in the closet all day instead of taking him on a picnic she promised him At he end of the movie he realizes he killed her on purpose. He was playing near the stairs and put a skate on the step so she would fall, which she did and died. He pressed that and other memories from his childhood The movie ended with him falling down the stairs and dying and his soul goes to the closet and he goes in and his mother is young and beautiful and waiting for him near a tree with a picnic ready for him. |
