    Replace tub on a slab.
How would I seat the drain on a new tub in existing construction if on a poured slab. Usually it would seat from the inside of the tub, but how would I connect the drain pipe to the waste since I can't access it from a basement?

    Hi MJ

You prepipe the tub waste and overflow assembly and connect it to the drain pipe in such a manner that you can lower the tub down over the tub waste and overflow assembly and then install the strainer and overflow plate in place... that make sense?

It is definitely tricky stuff, but good measuring and a few tries in and out and you can get it... ;)

    Back to you...
