    Delayed period
    My period delays for 6 days now.. if I take provera,will it help to start my period? Thanks

    Provera is often prescribed to help with regulating cycles. If your doctor or midwife has prescribed its use for this purpose, then you can take it.

    If this is a one time delay, could it be due to possible pregnancy? That would be something you might need to test for.

    Are you usually very regular or do you have irregular cycles? You would not want to take Provera just because your period happens to be late this month.
