    Deep Chicken Pox Scars
I am a mother seeking help for my teenage daughter. She has had chicken pox scars since she was 4. I have been to Dr.'s and for the most part each said her skin would stretch and the deep pits would go away! Not so.. Can anyone out there help me please! She is at an age that this is so important!

Chickenpox itself does not leave scars unless the sores become infected or the scabs are picked off repeatedly. Antibiotic treatments can reduce the scarring. But, if the scars are really deep or severe, you need to speak to your dermatologist about laser resurfacing or dermabrasion of the skin.
