    Working in one state with residency in another
    I live in RI but worked for four months in FL. Do I pay a tax to RI for those months?

    Yes, you pay RI taxes on this because you were a full year resident of RI. Doing a 4-moth job in FL does not mean you were a FL resident for those months.
