My hot tub is approximately 8 years old and recently I've noticed that when I use the tub at night, the breaker tends to go off after a few minutes of use. I can't figure out why because I've never had the problem occurring when using it during the day? It doesn't make any sense to me why it only appears to happen in the evening. After having people over last night... it did the same thing. I went and reset the breaker about 4 times and then gave up. Even just trying to run it on the lowest pump setting, with the heater on. This morning I talked with the service people where I purchased the spa, and it was suggested that it is likely the heater was going a bit faulty. I was told to check out the components of the tub and unplugging them one at a time and running the spa to see what one may be causing the short. So today I try just that but everything appears to be functioning properly and the breaker doesn't go off... like I said, I've never seen this happen during the day! Could it be the breaker itself?
