I am ten days late for my period. I have had unprotected sex, but three tests all say 'negative'. I am sometimes late, but never ten days; five at most.

Should I worry?

It could be an off cycle, even if it has never happened before. You might even skip this period. Of course, pregnancy is also still a possibility. Sometimes a positive result does not show up right away.

Give it another week and see what happens. Try another test at that time if necessary, making sure you follow the directions carefully. Or, you could always see your doctor for a test there. However, the urine tests you can buy are just as sensitive. They may do a blood test, but some offices will wait on a blood test until you have missed two periods or are having other possible symptoms, simply because it is not uncommon to have an off cycle now and then.

A bit early yet, give a little while longer,or as long as you possibly can wait, then try the test again,that's if your period hasn't started by then.

You may have just got confused over your dates or perhaps you've been a bit stressed lately,this can sometimes affect your periods.
