I went to the doctor on Monday. He didn't examine me, but had an ultrasound done. He said it appeared I had a cyst burst, and another one leaking. He stated there was fluid around my IUD, but could be my period starting. No period yet, I'm now over a week late but blood test came back negative. My IUD is in place, but the strings are gone, they couldn't find them.
A friend of mine who is a nurse and worked at that office, with that dr, stated I need to go elsewhere and that he should have examined me with the pain I was in. Should I get another opinion? I am 5'2 and 116lbs, all midsection. When I asked about losing weight, he told me to count calories and lose about 10-12 lbs, to cut my portions by 1/4 at least and work out twice a day. If that didn't work, get a tummy tuck. My hubby is ticked, because I don't eat much as it is and the dr didn't ask about my eating habits before telling me to do this.
