    Evicting my ex
My ex and I have been living together in my apartment for 7 months, he cheated so I broke up with him. In the beginning of September I told him he had to find somewhere to live and he had 30 days, I didn't want to get the courts involved because we do have a 7 month old daughter together which is why I let him come stay with me. It is now November and he is still here saying he will leave when he feels like it and during fights he has damaged the property which I am going to have to pay for. I wanted to do restraining order but has threatened me that things will happen if I decide to get it. I just need to know what rights I have and what is the fastest way to get him out before he damages more or possibly hurts me

The fastest way is to call the police the next time he gets violent, have him arrested and get a restraining order.

The ONLY other way is to give him a written notice to vacate in 30 days and then go to court for an eviction order if he doesn't leave.

You also need to go to court for custody of your child.

Yes you can write a 30 days notice to move, if he still may not move, if he does not, you will have to file for eviction in court

    Sure.

You are hereby notified that your tenancy at <insert address> will be terminated effective <insert date>. Please be out by that date or I will be forced to file for an eviction order.
