    Dryer making noise

I have the saame squealing noise and want to know if your instructions apply to a Frigidare Model LEQ1442ESO, Serial XD61309135 ? I pulled off the bottom panel in front and can see the roller for belt, electric motor and a tension spring. The top does come off by removing two screws and sliding the top away from dryer. My questions is where do I go from here? Thanks

Take the belt loose and lift out the drum. I am not sure whether your dryer has a rear drum bearing or not, but once you get the drum out you can see what is going on. Use white lithium grease to lubricate the bearings and the drum support rollers and anything else that needs it. You will also need to take out the different parts that move air and clean them out well, also I would replace the belt. Go to these sites to get an idea about what you need to do: http://www.electrical-forensics.com/Dryer/ElectricClothesDryers.html

in regards to constant humming frequency inside your house, I have been experiencing this for ten years and now that it has caused serious health issues as my body is being denied a deep sleep cycle from the interference;causing my nervous system to be supper sensitive to it / or it has become more amplified... I have also turned off all power. But the noise still persists and it is not outside the house.Everyone spending time in this house hears it. Australia has a 31 tariff that works with peak power usage; this activates from the hours of 10pm-7am and this is when the noise increases... I have electricians investigating right now... interesting that the FIRE ALARM is hard wired-in with it's own back-up battery so therefor is not able to by switch off/ Get a electrician to remove it. Remember to replace it with a portable, while investigating... can't reverse time or the damage that it has caused to your health... NO deep sleep =equals stress STRESS is the killer.. Deaden the alarm before it Deadens you...

 My GE Electric Dryer is making a strang "ching-ching" noise with each rotation. But there is nothing in the clothes that would explain this noise. (It is doing this with every load). It is drying the clothes fine, but the noise is very loud and annoying. What is wrong?
