3 Light kit ceiling fan installation
I need help installing a ceiling fan light pull chain. I'm not sure what type of fan it is and I'm not sure how to wire it. All I know is that there is a white and blue wire coming from the ceiling. There are 3 lights which each have a black and white wire. The old switch had 2 black wires and when I bought a new one it's not working. Any help is appreciated!

The blue wire connects to one of the black on the switch. The other black wire connects to the black coming down out of the fan from the ceiling box. Is that what you did?

There's no black wire coming from the ceiling. The only wires coming from the ceiling are blue and white. I was told the 3 white wires from the lights go with white from the ceiling. One of the black wires from the switch is connected to the blue from the ceiling. The other 3 black wires from the switch connected to the other black on the switch. Maybe that's where I went wrong?

I got it! Ended up the switch that I was told I needed wasn't the right one.
