I just replace my kitchen light with a new ceiling fan w/light. I now was going to try to install my hunter ceiling fan & light control switch. The switch has a black, blue and red wire w/green ground. The wall outlet has a black, red and white wire with ground. I just wasn't sure which wires...

Just installed a hampton bay ceiling fan with remote control.. the remote control works on the lights to turn them on and off but will not turn on/off fan or contol speed. What's wrong.

I wired a fan light combo with a nightlight.the lights both work fineand the fan trips the breaker as soon as switched. The wiring is correct according to the fan wiring diagram and the switch diagram. If the problem is in the fan wiring how would I diagnose or fix it?

I bought a Harbor Breeze fan and fan control. I wanted to use CFL lights in the fan but after it was installed I discovered it said no CFL lights. Can I use CFL lights if they are dimmable. It seems strange in this day and age of conserving energy that a fan control wouldn't let you use CFL...
