I went to a professional salon and had the colorist asses my hair. She strip the old color that was darker on the roots to a lovely light auburn. The problem is when I went back to the same person 3 weeks later to touch up my roots the color was a different shade. The third time I had my hair dyed it has a hint of violet. I'm overseas no american products and I need to get rid of the violet color.

First of all, never go too far away from what nature has given you naturally. A color expert should be able to get rid of the violet hues with a warm shade of gold. Next time try doing a few highlites instead of the whole head... it may be more flattering.
