Squiggly lines at the top of panasonic tc-p65s2?
I have a Panasonic TC-P65S, with angled lines at the top of the screen. Only happens occasionally. Just wondering if this is a problem with the picture mode, or possibly from transferring from Comcast 1080i to 1080P via my Onkyo A/V receiver ? Not A major issue, just looking for some input. Thanks

Probably just aspect ratio settings. If it happens mostly on your local channels and looks a bit like static, then I am almost 100% sure that's what it is.
Try setting your TV to 16:9. Some channels actually have information around the outside of them, which you wouldn't normally see. And some channels have little white static lines across the top. Haha. Others have just black.
Without seeing your equipment it's difficult to say, since some cable boxes, AV receivers, and TVs will all have aspect ratio settings. But for the most part, everything should be on 16:9. I think Panasonic might call it "full".
If this doesn't help, please take a photo and post it.

Thanks... yes, I have noticed less distortion on ESPN, and other non local channels. Sometimes I see it on commercials that are in 4:3 aspect. I am using the Onkyo TX-SR608 A/V, to convert Comcast's HD receiver box from 1080 interlaced, to 1080 progressive. I am usually good with the home theatre set ups, just thought there might be something I was missing. Thanks Again !

Your TV has a de-interlacer built in. I'm not familiar with how the Onkyo receivers work, but I know a lot of receivers mess with your gray scale. So if your TV is calibrated, or will be calibrated, it's best to run your devices straight to the TV.
The only thing you gain by running everything through your AVR is better audio quality with Blu-ray movies, and fewer cables.
