    What would make a thermostat work on ac and not heating?
    A/c works great.heat will not shut off.sounds like unit is not wired to thermostat to me not a tech though.any ideas

    Is there a switch or digital read to switch from AC to heat?

    Is it a new tstat install? Maybe someone didn`t put a jumper between RH and RC with red hot wire on the RC post,, just a thought

    Having the same problem now with my rooftop combination unit. The A/C works fine but the Heat is not working. The blower is working, but apparently the Gas Valve is not closing when the thermostat calls for heat. Two separate controls. One works the compressor the other the gas valve.
